Digital manometer is essentially a digital pressure meter and a more modern take on the older more recognisable analogue circular dial pressure gauges that everyone was used to seeing. Digital manometers are handheld devices that feature LCD displays so results can easily be read in accordance with the specification, many instruments now also include wireless download functionality to allow data to be captured and analysed by specialist manufacturer software.
Digital manometers use a sensor known as a pressure transducer, which deflects at different rates depending on the changes in pressure. This sensor then transmits these changes to the LCD display allowing small changes in pressure to be monitored in real time. The versatility of these instruments means they are one of the most common items seen on a technician’s bench in a vast array of industries like: healthcare, engineering, HVAC, oil & gas, utilities, and laboratory testing.
Calibration of digital manometers requires a calibrator of higher accuracy than the device under test. Calibrationhouse has engineers located strategically around the UK all with high accuracy calibrators as part of their standard toolkit, which allows us to offer a comprehensive onsite calibration service on most digital manometers. Our digital manometer calibration service is also available at our laboratory, where we offer a rapid turnaround service to keep equipment downtime to a minimum.
Our team of expert technicians are on hand to help you with any queries you have about calibration, servicing or repair.
