An occlusion tester or more accurately occlusion leak tester is used to measure the flow of air through a particular tube or other object and provides notifications to the user on whether the object is clear and acceptable for use. These tests can be used in the following clinical settings:

Checking and verification of various medical tubes
Checking the fluid flow in catheters
Checking the flow of fluid in IV sets or devices
